Kingston Greenways National Trails Day Project

Kingston Greenways Association will celebrate National Trails Day on Saturday, June 6, 2015, from 2 to 4 pm. The volunteer session will focus on opening up a trail in the Cook Natural Area. This will be an alternate trail, on a drier path, to replace the trail that was formerly the site of the boardwalk. Some sections of the boardwalk will be reused. KGA also hopes to clear sections of other trails in the vicinity.

Volunteers are welcome and should meet in the Cook Area parking lot at the junction of Ridge and Heathcote Roads in Kingston. Wear sturdy boots; KGA will provide gloves and tools. For more information, call 609-924-3399 or visit kingstongreenways.org.
