Shikantaza, a jazz trio that makes music in the tradition of contemporary piano jazz trios like those of Bill Evans and Keith Jarrett, will make its third appearance at the South Brunswick Jazz Café on Friday, November 6, 2015. The program will feature expressive arrangements of classic and lesser-known material, along with original compositions from their forthcoming album entitled Retractions.

Shikantaza is Brandon Lewin on percussion, Bernhard Geiger on acoustic bass and Doug Miller on piano keyboard. Click here for more about the trio.

The performance will take place at the Herb Eckert Auditorium in the Senior Center, South Brunswick Municipal Complex, located at 540 Route 522, Monmouth Junction. Admission is $6 at the door.
